WAND Foundation believes in “empowering local communities” so that base of the pyramid are able to contribute fully to the life of the community and live dignified lives. The WAND Foundation’s work is focused specifically on the poorest of the poor as the main object and subject of development.
On August 27th, WAND Foundation had the opportunity to present their organization and upcoming construction projects to more than 10 industry partners of the Fairbuilding network during the online engagement forum held via Zoom.
The executive director of WAND Foundation, Mr. Elmer Sayre, was able to discuss the possible requirements for their 3 projects: a Training Hall, Socially Distanced Cottages, and toilets for the neighboring families. The 3 project will be built in Tuod, Manticao, Misamis Oriental. As of now, the foundation is mainly looking for an architect/designer and contractor to be able to finalize the designs of the training hall ad cottages.
